The news came from Deloitte Hellas CEO Dimitris Koutsopoulos at the 3rd Thermopylae Forum.

The Thermopylae Forum 2025 began with positive news for the city of Lamia.

The CEO of Deloitte Hellas, Dimitris Koutsopoulos , announced that the company is adopting the city of Lamia in order to “green it”.

” For a better and greener city, with practices that have been applied in other cities around the world, with great success… “, as the head of Deloitte characteristically stated.

An idea that matured in collaboration with our fellow countryman  Christos Stamatis of Stevia Hellas.

” The experience is there, we have done it and in other cities we will see together how we can make it greener and more ,” said Mr. Koutsopoulos , who promised his continued presence in future planning, aiming to upgrade the area.

The initiative is part of the framework of actions of Deloitte Greece, which actively supports local communities with environmental protection and sustainable development being key pillars of its planning.

For his part, the Mayor of Lamia, Panourgias Papaioannou, listened with great satisfaction to Deloitte’s initiative, emphasizing that the Municipality of Lamia will cooperate closely so that both sides can work for the development of the region and the better quality of life of its residents.
